Successfully tested in Antarctica and on the world's highest peaks, Regular Crew socks are the original "Thermohair" socks and have been on the market since 1992. They are knitted with large loops of luxuriously soft kid mohair and 25% nylon yarn. With unmatched insulation and cushioning, these are the most comfortable, warmest and most durable socks you'll ever own. Ideal for those who work and play in the cold outdoors: contractors, hunters, fishermen, hikers, trekkers, linesmen, skiers, snowmobilers, divers……….. in men's medium and up, the gray socks are 10% thicker than other colors, for added warmth in your steel-toed boots. While the large loops on the inside of the socks are made of 75% kid mohair and 25% nylon, nylon is added to the outside of the socks to allow for stretch and elasticity. This reduces the kid mohair content throughout the sock, but the curls you feel inside are still a mix of 75% kid mohair and 25% nylon.
