Refund policy
All regular priced items (except boxers, underwear and socks) are eligible for a refund. If you want another size, we recommend that you do not wait too long to place a new order since we cannot guarantee that the size that you want will still be available. All sale items are final sale. No returns/refunds.
What if there is an error in your order or your garment is damaged?
We promise to replace the items free of charge. Just contact us by email online@abaka.ca or by phone at 819-536-7936.
- Items cannot be returned if worn (except for try-on), damaged, washed or if the tags have been removed. They must be returned in a condition suitable for resale and within 30 days of receipt.
- Items cannot be ordered in duplicate for try-on purposes. No returns will be accepted in this case.
- The return transport must be provided at your expense (except in the event of an error on our part. In this case, the shipment is at our expense).
For all other reasons for return:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, with tag still attached, and in the same condition that you received it. The return is at your expense except in the case of defective clothing.
Follow the links to complete your return. You can benefit from a $12 return in Quebec by purolator and $5 for certain clothes that come in an envelope (Read the shipping section).

Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it. We will also notify you of our decision to approve or reject your refund request.If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2 business days of receiving your return.
Please note, however, that there may then be a processing time of 2 to 7 business days for the amount to be posted to your account depending on your financial institution.
***It is IMPORTANT to note that if your initial order, after returns, falls below $99 for Quebec and Ontario, and $123 for the rest of Canada, a $12 fee (base rate for a return for Quebec and Ontario) or $18 (base rate for a return for the rest of Canada) will be deducted from your refund because your order would not have benefited from the free delivery at the start.
You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return the items (according to the carrier's information)

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items and underwear
Only regular priced items can be refunded. However, you can make an exchange if the above rules are respected. Unfortunately, sale items and boxers and underwear are not refundable or exchangeable for hygiene purposes.
Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong size, we advise you not to wait for confirmation and to re-order the correct size, because we produce small quantities!
We only replace items at our cost if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at online@abaka.com and send your item to: 413, avenue Mercier, Shawinigan, QC, G9N 1S1, Canada.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
To return your product, mail your product to: 413, avenue Mercier, Shawinigan, QC, G9N 1S1, Canada.
We can send you other possible carriers. We will suggest the best options when your return is approved.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Quebec $12 Canada $18 and $5 per envelope.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, we we suggest you go through https://shopify.com/24898038/account
If it is a single item small enough to fit in a 10X13 envelope (some t-shirt sizes or smaller), we recommend this option as it is less expensive. Note that it must not be more than 1/2 inch thick to be accepted by Canada Post.
