Field coats have been the choice of outdoor enthusiasts for over a century. But we wanted one that was more comfortable and more environmentally friendly, so we decided to make our own. In no time, we found the ideal material: a sturdy and stylish recycled wool blend that breathes well, sheds fog or showers, and keeps you warm in cool or cold conditions. Our warmest and most durable layer, the new Field Coat has a soft loft weave, easy to wear and thick enough for tough outdoor work, similar to heavy fleece, but with a more natural feel. Made using our unique dye-free process that eliminates the need for harmful chemical dyes, the coat features a double upper back panel for added strength, comfort and protection from the elements; Back shoulder pleats provide excellent freedom of movement, whether it's a weekday on Broadway or an off-the-grid weekend. Other details include a flat collar, two buttoned chest pockets, two side pockets, single button cuffs and a square hem; the buttons are black with turned caramel.

Wash in cold water and hang to dry. To reduce energy and water consumption, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your clothes a longer lifespan.
