Abaka collaborates with the Association des marchés publics du Québec , for a t-shirt!
Support the local economy, by visiting Quebec's public markets... and with an eco-responsible t-shirt !
Public markets are recognized as the extension of on-farm production and processing activities. Thus, most merchants offer you products that they have grown or processed themselves, all close to home.
We asked Jean-Nick Trudel, director of the AMPQ (and model for Abaka de tazentemps ) to tell us a little more:
Can you describe the mission of the AMPQ?
" The Quebec Public Markets Association's mission is to accompany and support the emergence, development and promotion of the network of Quebec public markets for the benefit of local communities and Quebec agri-food producers and artisans. "
What services are offered?
" Aware of the issues relating to the deployment and sustainability of local markets, the Association has developed a service offer adapted to the needs of its members in order to provide them with effective tools facilitating the professionalization of the work of organizations ensuring the management of Quebec public markets. ”
Why is the promotion of Quebec's public markets important today?
" The AMPQ represents the alternative network par excellence for the marketing of local and regional agri-food products. Recognized for the freshness and specificity of its horticultural and artisanal processing products, the public market allows customers to have privileged contact with agricultural producers and artisans. of agri-food thanks to the support of municipalities and cities which make it a distinctive asset. "
With each sale of ORGANIKO AMPQ t-shirts, an amount will be donated to the association!
